Default Button programming on a DX4r pro

I'm wondering if someone can help me. There are 6 switches on this radio (A-F). The only button that is an on/off button is the F button, all the others are side to side type switches. I want 2 on/off switches, is there a way to do this?

I don't think so. When modding the buttons you scroll available option for that button, I didn't see an on/off option.

The on off could be more of a circuit break then a programmed button, although I don't know for sure. I would think a circuit breaker reduces slow drain when off.

The DX4 is very very good on batteries. A decent set of AA's last a looooooooooooooong time.

Any of the switches can be set to 2P (2 Position). Jumps to each position depending on which way its pushed.

Not a true off/on, just high/low servo position/PWM setting. A true off/on requires something like a picoswitch.

What are you trying to achieve?

I'm thinking about getting a Traxxas revo 3.3 for some fun bashing while I'm not racing. I don't want to use the traxxas radio. I have button F being used for the timer so I don't want to use that. I want the other button to be used for putting the revo in reverse. If someone has a better idea I would love to hear it.

That should work fine. Choose 2P on one of aux channels for the chosen button, set travel on each to shift the gearbox correctly, and light it up.
