Default REDS 1/8 Esc

Hi guys!
Do anyone know when REDS will release their new esc for 1/8 scale?
I'm looking for electronics for a future build, Agama A215E. Thinking about REDS esc and v8 motor.

I'm picking mine up this afternoon. Going to run it in my eTruggy at Psycho Nitro Blast. We'll see how well it holds up!

I hope the BEC will be high voltage and at least 5A like the Tekin

Was looking at running the new Hobbywing but is such a huge beast to stuff into a Tekno.

Anyone else pick one of these up yet? I have the program box but i'm struggling to get it setup so I can adjust the settings. Also can't get through the calibration process as described in the manual. As of now I can make the wheels move forward but that's about it. I can update the firmware but then just says ESC not connected when hooked to the computer. and Program box standalone only says that it's a program box and shows no settings.

UPDATE: Updating the programming box to version 2.0 seemed to work and figured out the calibration although not as described in the manual. Or at least I think it's calibrated. Had to mess around with it and reverse settings and seems to be working now.

What do you think about the new esc?
Can you post some pics of your installation of the esc?

King runs it, but unsure about its performance.. I know he struggles to make a 10min main running a 6500 battery.. That sounds like a lot of current draw? I know has been through a couple esc's.. It's still pretty new and he is one of a very few running it
