Default IMax b6 clone

I bought one thinking it came with the ac adapter but it didnt. I used my laptop charger and it seemed to work. Just wondering if that is all it needs. Thanks!!!

Have a look at the brick of the power supply, make sure the specs match the requirements of your charger. Also make sure the centre pin is negative on both the charger and the connector from the power supply. There should be a little diagram on both.

The only issue I can see is not having enough amps to charge at a higher rate.

You can pick up computer power supplies off ebay, that have plenty of power and are very cheap.

The amp reading on my imax often ranges from 0 to the pre set setting while charging. Is the power supply to blame?
