Default LiFe Battery in Remote

What's the proper care for a LiFe battery? Can I leave it in my remote and forget about it?

It's is perfectly fine to leave it in the remote. I personally take mine out but that's just to remind myself to charge it every few months.

My biggest concern is safety. Are they volatile like a LiPo?

I have had one in a Futaba trans for over a year with no problems. I do not over charge it and I do not run it all the way down.

Does the voltage creep from lack of use?
