Default servo help

Hey guys last weekend my son broke his servo, no biggie, we had another one laying around to steal parts from, put it together and plug it in to center it before putting the horn on and wow, it just spins all the way around like its a propeller motor. These are cheap hobbyking servos but we've never had a problem in the past? So I figured that body/ brain was messed up so i switched everything over to the other body, plug it in, same thing, just spins in circles. Again never had this issue before. So know I'm thinking its a radio or Rx issue, to eliminate that i plugged the messed up servos into my car, same thing just spins, both of them? I have no idea what would cause this to happen. Any help would be fantastic. Thanks.

Had this issues before a long time ago with cheap servo. I found a site here and it was similar what i had and fixed. It was a setup issues, but hope its not a mechanical issues. If thats the case you will need to buy a new one. That happen to me when i 1st got into rc I tried to be cheap fixing and buying parts. End up spending alot of money more then buying a stronger servo with metal gears. If i were you I would either buy Savox or Highest RC servo. Now both is about the same price but savox makes to much noise and glitching. Means you have to buy a glitch buster. I end up going with Highest RC very smooth, no glitch buster require and quite. Myself and other team drivers has slammed to the wall. Well the servo act like it was nothing. Still strong and quite.

yea its not reversed or the gyro setting, if something accidently got switched or adjusted on his radio that would have been eliminated when I plugged it into mine.
