Hi everybody , I'm looking to get my first proper charger, now atm I only have Nimh rx batteries and a lead acid in my starter box , but I'm looking to get li-po rx batteries for both my cars and they will have a capacity of about 2000mah so my needs atm are fairly basic but if I'm getting a charger I might as well get a good one that can charge all sorts , if I go electric for my buggies instead of nitro, I also like the sound of dual outputs so I can charge 2 batteries at once and for it to be fairly quick at charging , I'm not to fussed about touch screen but it would be nice.
Now my budget is max £150 , thanks for the help as I don't know what's good or not.
Thanks

I'd advise you the Yokomo Duo Charger.
It fits in your budget (~143 pounds) and has 2 charging channels:
Channel 1 has a max of 20A
Channel 2 has a max of 5A.
Should be enough for any future steps you'll make in switching from NiMH to LiPo.

Since it's a pre-order, I wouldn't advise it, it might take very, very long.

Hi thanks for the help, well orion do a duo it's just not a touch it has a 100w supply which is 50w per channel if I'm right? So what makes the touch better apart from the touch screen , does it charge faster as it's got 200w ?
Thanks

If you don't mind that it isn't a DC charger, the G-Force GF-G0025 might be an option. 80W, 3 channels and reaaaally portable but no dual charging.
I use one myself next to my large MuchMore charger, to bring to races since it's so portable.

No problem, the Team Orion Advantage Touch Pro is an AC/DC charger, but it just doesn't have dual charging and since the Duo version isn't going to be available for an unknown period of time.

the orion was available over in the states in limited releases. seems like very good value for the money.
To tell you the truth though...i might just get the LRP pulsar touch charger and portable PS for just a little more. Charges a bit faster, and has more features to give.

in the states anyway the orion is about 250 USD.. which is just a little under 150 pounds sterling. Trust me... there is no better deal on a duo charger with a internal PS that comes close to he orion in value and price.

Tax & duties will make it go way above that though.

another option is to go the single port rout. both orion and LRP have single port chargers that are going for about 200 and 170 respectively in the states.
to get a good duo charger that does any more that about 5 amps and has an internal PS you will probably want to raise your price range... The orion is really at what most are going at. amains protek does have a duo charger that does 12 amps on both channels, and is about 170 here... but it looks kinda cheaply made.
