Does anyone know of of any brushless esc's that have an adjustable reverse delay or will go into reverse with a double tap on the trigger without having to wait for car to reach a complete stop first?
I'll be looking to run a sensored 8.5t
I brought my 1st brushless setup, a speed passion combo and reverse delay is ridiculous aswell as lipo cut off will not work. Have tried all types of firmwares and settings.

Basically i've only just dug out my old losi xx-t thats been in storage 15 years. I was using a novak rooster back in the day. This would brake for 3 seconds and then kick into reverse, no waiting for it to reach a complete stop first.
I want a esc brushless setup that has similar brake/reverse characteristics as the old rooster

The delay is a full one second in neutral before reverse will engage. If you try to engage before the one second is complete it will restart that timer. It can feel like an eternity, but remember the ESC has to see the neutral signal which can take a brief moment after you have let go of the trigger.

The delay can be turned off on Orion pro's but that is "crawler" mode so there is no brake. With the Orion if the car is stopped there is no delay when you move the trigger to reverse. However if it's moving forward then it brakes until it is stopped then goes into reverse.
That delay is standard to help prevent people from ruining their drivetrain. I find it irratating sometimes when I can't get it when I want it or it comes on when I don't want. But that is just learning how to work it correctly and using some patience.
