You need the VRC USB adapter and that gets connected to the Futaba receiver. Bind the 4PX to the receiver and your good to go.

i have a problem on my futaba 4px and i lost my car from this issue if any one can help me please, after i install the receiver and bind it with the remote and every thing is going smoothly i start the car and start to play once the car lost the signal and hit full throttle and crashed in the wall, i think there is something wrong in the connection and it lose the power, after 1 week i install the receiver on my vorza its electric and BTW the first car was nitro and also i start to practice on the track again i lost the single but the car stopped i get the car and i find the receiver light RED, it means that the remote switch off but or the single lost , but the remote is on and nothing wrong i switch the remote off and back to on they bind again, i get back to practice and it fail again. i bind the receiver on my old remote its 4pk and the work normal and didn't lost the connection, and i bind the old receiver on the 4px (r604fs) and it back to fail during practice so i think there is something wrong with the remote but i didn't know what is the problem, i check the connections . i change the place when i try remote. but nothing happened same issue can any one help me please. |

R604FS is C2 so yes on that model RX.
R603FS is C1 so no on that model RX. Have you tested with the RX that came with the 4PX? Does it function any differently? Please keep us posted. |
I would update the firmware, did you do that?

I used mine for the first time. It worked fine for 3 battery packs. I pulled into pitlane and pulled up behind another driver, he was using a 4PK. No steering, just throttle. Interesting. My first thought was that my servo horn had fallen off. No, it was still attached. Back to the pit bench. I played with it, turning the power off/on, both on ESC and the control and checked the wiring. Still nothing. I looked up and noticed that Jarrod was about to turn off his 4PK. I looked back down at mine and it was working again. Coincidence!!! I had 3 other glitches and two of them in the identical spot on the track.
Note: I didn't have the antenna turned around. I keep forget to do this. :) equipment being used. 4PX in FASST/614ff-E/Futaba BLS551/Nosram ESC in a XB4'15 Firmware 1.1E |

try a R304SB-E receiver if you can, see if you can replicate the problem with the same guy that had the 4PK
|
I don't have an R304SB-E receiver. :(
I'll drop the R304SB in for testing tonight or if I have time I'll drop over to the warehouse and collect one. |
Sorry I did mean to say R304SB, I got a bit excited with the copy and paste
