For the ppl that have the 4px already what case are u using to protect the radio???

nexxus 09-03-2014 07:20 PM

It fits the 4pk case fine, almost the same profile.

Im just going to use the same hudy radio bag i had my m12 radio in. I might look into making a foam cutout for it if i really feel like it.

With the firmware on the 4px i take it v1.0 is still the current version available and no updates have come out yet.

HulkNT1 09-04-2014 02:57 AM

The Japan version of the radio and we need to update firmware we need to go to the futaba japan website since this is the Japan version??????

HDFanboy 09-04-2014 03:14 AM

Ah yep that would make sense. I'll check it out to see if there are any updates.

I can confirm that the 4PX fits in a 4PK bag just fine.

I can also confirm that the R604FS receiver works on the 4PX :)

Anyone know if there is a way to display the telemetry data on the main screen? Or if a button can be assigned to toggle the telemetry display?

See attachment. SBS-01T is for temperature, SBS-01V is for external voltage.

Sorry if it's upside down. No idea why it's like that

Thanks! Not sure I want to install that many wires on my touring car:p

External voltage sensor would be a nice feature for my drift car. Ill have to get one soon and see how tidy i can get the wires because im pretty fussy about the wiring on my drift cars. Temp sensor i wouldn't bother with since the esc and motor barely even gets warm so no need to monitor temps.

After all my complaining about the missing battery, I still ended up pre ordering from Tower. At least I'll get the local warranty.
