I picked up some parts today. the wall plate will go on the outside of the toolbox...and i will mount the binding posts to the shallow box...while the deeper box will protect the wires & back of the binding post. hopefully i can pick up the binding posts monday.

now i need to find some wire sold by the foot to extend my soldering iron wire. has to be stranded and 5-conductor wire.

for the V2 soldering iron...i am going to cut the plug off and solder new wire on (yeah i'll have to borrow my buddies soldering iron so i can solder my soldering iron lol). i never liked that giant plug in the middle. i am thinking i will get this stuff for the extension...and gotta find some wire

updated the first post with some more pictures of the soldering statino mounted in the V1 box...and the receptacle on the power panel for the soldering iron to plug into. that was probably the best thing about this box. i didn't have to get a bunch of stuff out to do some soldering. just plugged my iron into the power panel on my box and i was ready to solder!!

listed more supplies i got for the box. work should start soon!!
