Default Tekin RS Throttle Response

I am using a gen 1 RS in my TLR22 with a 17.5 motor. Software version 223. I would like a little better throttle response. It seems to lag a bit after I pull the trigger. My netural width is set to 5, which I heard was as low as you want to go. What else can I look into to increase response time. The radio I have isn't that great (dx3.0), but I don't have this issue with other escs I have. I will attach my hotwire file.

Funny, I just put a Tekin RS and a Tekin Gen2 10.5 in my buggy this weekend and noticed the same thing. I don't have a solution but I'm watching this thread for possible solutions.

Did you make sure to re-calibrate your radio to the esc after lowering neutral width setting? Also you may want to try raising the throttle minimum up a few. This will help make it feel more snappy right off the bat.

I did recalibrate after lowering neutral. I'll try raising throttle minimum and report back the results. Thanks
