Default Viper VST 7.5 question

Question. I was running a 7.5 motor in my B44 and switched over to an LRP X-12 7.5 and the LRP seems to have like almost twice the power. I know there's nothing visible wrong with the Viper motor, nor does it have the funny smell like it's been cooked. Has anyone else noticed that their motors seem to not have as much power as others do?

Question sounds familiar, I think I answered it for you on a different forum but just in case.

Our motors were design torque based not rpm based like most like the LRP. So if geared the same the LRP will feel faster on track because of the rpm difference. Our team drivers will either gear higher, or run a turn lower. So they may use a 6.5 with a set gear ration compared to others running a 7.5. With that type of a set up they will feel more low end power, so you have to set esc and chassis to make the set up work together.
