As long as your android device supports OTG which is USB connectivity, it should work.
TY RP, I gave up on the mobile os, & bought a 10" 2&1 PC running Win10, so programming is working good, but when I save then try to load I get an error stating the file was created under ver 1, & wont open. My HW is 2.0, software 10.26, & the RX8's are running 257. Any ideas?

That number will change depending on what motor you're using, timing setups, battery, etc.

There are a lot of variables going on there. Either way typically you will see a higher C rated battery drop less.

Here's a weird one. Picked up a samsung s3 just for my hotwire. Was working great. Installed a rs and 13.5 in my crawler and programmed it and it worked fine. I went back in and adjusted the drag brake then shut it down. I then went to check and make sure the setting took and when I plugged the hotwire back in the screen went dead and no more s3. Anyone seeen this before ?

No but on older devices you need to make sure you use the "close all" function to shut down the app in case it's open in the background.

I put 258 on 4 RX8's today, & saved 3 profiles. I got the warning this was created on ver 2, but seemed to work/open this time.

Is anyone using an lg phone for the app? Just got an lg v20. I got an older samsung tablet tbats otg compatible, but still no connection.

My old samsung tablet worked but I had to have the esc plugged into a battery.

Make sure your device supports OTG. We see a TON of cables that are just charging gender changers and don't have the data lines inside.

Purely out of curiosity, what are the other LEDs for on the Hotwire? There is only the single data one which illuminates, just wondering what the others are for (if anything).

Well I tried to load a profile/save & it wont load up properly. I get some of the save , but the cell count is back to 2s(from 6s). Any ideas?

I have a Droid turbo 2 and the original hotwire, my esc's are an rs and rs pro and I cannot get it to work. Does the app work with the older electronics or do I need to upgrade?.

Hotwire works with rs and rs pro.
