Is anybody else having this issue? When I run a log on my phone it shows different numbers from the same log I run on my computer? Which one is the right numbers?

I have the same connection on my s5 and what I did was go to best buy and in the Samsung section they have an adapter for 20$ that goes from mini USB to hook to the phone to a regular female USB on the other end, then u can just use the cable that came with the hotwire, it's white and probably 6 inches or so, hope that makes since and helps u out.

This cable works on the majority of the newer Samsung devices including the Note 3:

Not all of the Samsung Tab 4's support OTG. I have no idea why this is the case, but they vary from size. The Tab3's were also this way. The 7" and 10" had it, the 8" did not. Weird.

I also know that Samsung is pretty insistent on the Tabs using their own OTG cable if they offer one. Easiest way to test this is plug in a USB jump drive to the OTG cable you're using. If you can read/play an audio file from the drive without moving the file, it's working.

We see a LOT of "OTG" cables that do not work and are actually a simple gender changer or power adapter. So make sure you know what you have.

According to Samsung Tech Chat only the 10.1" version supports OTG on the Tab4 line. FYI

We have quite a few listed here:

http://www.teamtekin.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=170

The key here is to ask the people there if it supports OTG or not. I seriously recommend looking at the specs online before you buy anything. The issue comes down to the manufacturer of the tablet/device and whether or not they install the software to support it.

You can also generally go off of whether or not the mfg offers an OTG cable, HDMI support, etc.

Thanks I was looking at a Samsung Tab S but don't want to spend that much on a tablet for the track . I can't find a Nexus 7 local not sure what I want to do now .

Has anyone tried Hot Wire with a Windows phone? Will be shopping for a new phone soon. My I phone 4S is on its last leg. Thinking about trying a Windows phone. Running Hot Wire could be a push that way.

In order to work with the hotwire, the device will need to have Android Software 3.1 at the Very Minimum. Ideally you want version 4.2 or higher. 4.4 seems to be the best software version currently...

Just Picked up a cheap (Motorola MOTXT1528BFPP ) LTE Pay-as-you go phone for $10 in the Black Friday sales. Runs Lollipop.

Picked up this OTG Cable to convert my regular USB/mini Hotwire cable. Has a USB Female on one end, and micro USB on other. Works a charm
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ilpage_o01_s00

Hope this helps someone
