My Bionic shows 4.1.2 so I'm guessing that's 4.1?

In general go to "settings" then "about device/phone" it will list the AOS version.
4.1.1 and 4.1.2 will work. Ordered $1.60 OTG to the door. Looking forward to the notebooks retirement :tire: |

Bought from ebestmart but there are other sellers with it http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/ol/B005QX7KYU?c=n |
Do you have to plug a battery into the esc, or does the hotwire get power from the controlling device?
|
As long as your device can supply enough power, no battery is needed.
Some older devices don't supply enough power. If you have one of these you can use the car battery to supply the power, etc. |
Nope no battery needs to be plugged in. Simply plug your esc in via Hotwire and tune away.

My galaxy s3 is 4.3...... so no luck in using the app. is there a way to roll back to a previous version of android? Most android stuff being released wont work with the app because they are beyond 4.1.

So I take it that the app is merely looking at the version number before disabling the functionality? Running 4.4 on Nexus 5 and no go. I believe should be able to do OTG, but will have to look into more that is if app isn't just looking at OS version.

Google can help here. Whether you're rooted or not, etc. There are many choices. Stock roms, etc. I rolled back my tablet in about 10 minutes once I had the files. |
