Default Hobbyking 120a Programming Card Problem

Hi everyone, I recently purchased two of these: http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store...nsorless_.html but I cant get this programming card http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store...150A_ESC_.html to work. When I plug it in the red led at the top lights up, but no numbers display on screen. Thanks for the help, Dropkinn.

The X-Car is meant to use the USB programmer.

There is one version of the software for the ESC that is meant for non-sensored motors. This software is able to work with the LCD programmer you have. The problem is, you need the USB programmer to flash over to that software.

Long story short, order the USB programmer or see if a friend/track buddy has a USB programmer from a Brushless Hobbies ESC.

I always recommend the X-Car to people who are on a budget, but I also always recommend to get the USB programmer as well!!!

I use that card with the smaller 45 and 100amp esc's without issue. I know it sounds dumb but try flipping your rx wire over and see if that works. The other item of note is check what port you have it plugged into on the card. 1 is just for power and the other actually is used to talk to the esc.

Good luck.

I also tried this with a 60a esc I had lying around. It was correctly plugged in unless they marked it wrong, looks like I'm going to have to order the USB programmer. Thanks everyone!
