Do lipo's gain more of a punch/power after a few cycles have been run through them?

I was running my truck this afternoon - 4S - on packs that have had about 5 or so cycles in them...and it just seemed all around zippier/snappier than before.

If they are brand new then yes, they need a couple packs to 'break in'
