Yep I agree. 8.3v for modified racing is normal and has been that way for quite a long time for 4.5t motors. Especially indoors on carpet. Outdoors in high traction you may goto 8.4v charge.

3 days running and loved my fleta pro, BUT....
3rd day the sensor on the esc did pauses of working. throttle didnt respond etc...
i tried new sensor cable, new motor to test the motors sensor, new receiver as well... nothing. 3 days old esc, and sensor problem. I hope it was just me but... come on.... i really like it as far as it goes from throttle and acceleration but 3 days old and 1st problem. what will happen after 1 year? :/

Have you tried another motor, just to rule out sensor problem in motor?

Yes unfortunatelly i did...
Esc is on the way back to korea.... :(
Thank god it was bought 2-3 days from an official dealer and he accepted with no charge to send it for service or replacement.

OK, sorry to hear that.

Just for the record, we have been using the Fleta Pro, as have other racers we know, with no problems.

I strongly assume you have just been very unlucky.

I've been running a fleta pro outdoors in 13.5 boosted recently, the throttle is super smooth with great power delivery, really like it. My issue is with the brakes. No matter what I did there was a delay with the brakes when braking from full throttle. This resulted in either braking much earlier than the others, or overshooting the apex.

Has anyone experienced this? My EPA are at 100%, I calibrated the esc a couple of times and I experimented with different combinations all day across the whole frequency spectrum etc.

I did hear of a few people setting the EPA to 75% on brakes. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I run 13.5 Blinky and initially struggled to get a decent brake feel. I couldn't get smooth hard brakes like the Lrp till I turned them down to 75%, set the deadband to minimum and ramped the brakes at 1hz. I turned drag of as well as zero initial. I've also adapted a double tap brake method into the hard corners with the controller to really get the brakes to lock in. I watched the local fast guy do it into a downhill brake section at his track and started using it since.

Thanks man, I'll give those settings a try and see if I can get it working for me. If not I'll have to experiment with the double tap method myself.

Does any one know if There is a New Fleta Pro v2 on the way?

AL1983 05-06-2016 03:07 PM

Hi,
I have a Fleta Pro which is giving me allot of problems. It all started with the on/off switch failing, would turn off in runs. I removed the switch. It performed great for two months but now it does not turn the motor (all cables are OK, sensor cable also). the fan starts fine but lights do not blink, it also transfer power to the receiver and servo.

Anyone might know what is the problem?

I had a similar issue with a Reds Racing Tx120 esc, which I'm told is a very similar unit, if not a replica of the Fleta Pro. I was told by Reds Racing that the firmware had become corrupted and that a reset/fix/reinstallation of the firmware to a previous version would work. Tried it and it worked. Not saying it will here, but I had the same thing with fan working, receiver and servo getting power.

Also had similar from esc when the receiver plug was in wrong way round.

Hope you find a solution soon buddy! Let us know how you get on and if anything works.

And has some very neat features on it as well. Dedicated fan plug, servo wire location options and a cool looking heatsink.
