I bought a new 4R on impulse lol I'm ok with my futaba so if any one wants one 309 shipped to lower 48, great looking radio though it's sitting in a box that Amain shipped it to me in ready to go.

I've run the following with dx4r so far:

Novak activ8 - radio post green servo - sr3100 - no glitches
Novak Impact - Savox 1257tg - sr2000 and sr410 - no glitches
Tekin RS Pro - savox 1258tg - sr410 - no glitches
Tekin RS Gen II - futaba 9452 - sr2000 - no glitches

So overall my experience has been good with the new DSMR recievers.

I was undecisive of the servo I wanted to get, and went with the s6040 so I don't think I will have any issues

Blue MX SR3100 receivers work with this radio. I tested one. They can be bought from US sellers on ebay for as low as $8/FS each when you buy 10.

This transmitter is great! Love the overall adjustability and feel.
The only thing that i need some time to get used to is the new foam on the steering wheel, its a bit harder thyen the dx3pro.
I guess it will be better after i broken it in a couple off hours

Default aux

Hey guys i'm new to the spectrum radio. So far i'm liking this one. My question is how do you program the aux channel? I want to use it as a on off switch to kill my 5t engine through the killer bee switch set up. Can anyone help me the manual is kind of vague on the setup. Thnx

that receiver is minuscule!
I had 27 vehicles at one point, and my buddy has over a hundred vehicles. It's not common, but some will surely fill up all 50 slots.

Love this radio so far just upgraded from the 4s. Live the feel .The only problem I had with my 4s was the foam on the wheel spun on me . Hopefully this is a little better
