Sorry, I did not write clearly... I started the day with about 5.8V and in the last main it was below 5.1ish as I think to remember

I have noticed this radio does wear batteries down a lot faster than the DX3S, which would last a long time. I guess the extra lights are the culprit. I wish there was a way to turn them off to help the battery's last longer. I am keeping a 5.5 frame rate with my 410 rx's. It would be awful to find out the blue $10 rx's actually work better than a $100 SR2000 rx. I am finally getting used to the L/H'ed side, and don't even think about using this cross handed(right finger on throttle and left on steering on a r/h radio,) doesn't work.

I set the backlit LCD screen for 5 seconds only....no need for more.

That may help a bit.

It does automatically change the framerate to 11 when binding a sr410...

Default DX3R

Does anyone have the right hand conversion for the DX3R? Mine is setup for a lefty and didn't come with the handle-button or steering wheel conversion. I got this as a used radio and would love to keep it. If not I'll sell it to a lefty.
Thanks..Steven

Your best bet is to contact customer service at Horizon Hobby for the parts.

Had to ditch the large diameter wheel. Felt like I was rotating my wrist to turn instead of using my fingers thus adversely affecting my reaction time. To each his/her own though

I guess that explains the slow steering, I also need a smaller wheel. I had a huge problem with the sr2000 rx, it died on me with 5 volts left on the screen, really! I am going to raise a stink over this with Spektrum. A $100 rx that dies at 5 volts? I put in an old sr300 and it did just fine. The motor started twitching right before it happened. I was all over the place before it died, totally out of control, great thing to happen in a main!!!! I expect Spektrum to address this problem immediately, and replace them with something that works right. They got to cute with the size.

2 questions for 4R Pro owners. Does the DX4R Pro have a vibrate mode option for the Downtimer? Can a lanyard/neck strap be attached to the radio?

I did not see any hinge or so to attach a lanyard or neck band... but it should work if you have a self tightening strap around the grip.

There is a vibrate mode that you can enable in the menu.

@platgolf
Had the issue also with a SR410... but not anymore.
I've returned it and got my money back... no more beta testing for me

so far, I haven't had any problems with my radio. maybe, i've just been lucky. Maybe those with problems have been just unlucky. I've also only used mine to race on indoor carpet. Have the troubles been related to running over jumps or out in a dirtier environment?

Does anybody know of anyone that is making skins for this radio, yet?

thanks.
