Just purchased one of these and the hotwire last week for my B6d. I'm very new to RC racing. I'm actually entering my first race this Sunday. Just making sure i made the right choice. It seems like everyone at my track uses Hobbywing.
Post up any questions you need on here. |

Tekin's new hotwire
In Hotwire on a PC the throttle and brake frequencies are 1 thru 12. But on the mobile app beta they are 4 or 5 digit numbers. How do I change frequencies at the track with my mini pad. Do I still need to bring the PC. And when is this going to be on the iPhone?

You should be able to type in 12k on the app for example and save it without issue. The iPhone app will launch along side the upcoming Hotwire 3.0 with BlueTooth. |
Backorder

I just subscribed to this thread
looking for RSX 13.5 4wd class setups! thanks! I run the D413 car |
I run a RS Gen 2 speed in my 22-4 for 13.5. remember this is a spec class so weight is important (to an extent).
RS Gen 2 will easily push a 13.5 in a 4wd buggy and saves about 20grams. All the adjust ability of the RSX. Of course if you already have an RSX gets the job done as well. I will see if I can post up my current settings for my 4wd buggy. |

I already have rsx with a 6.5 gearing i know will change thinking 33/72 start? |
If you are not running blinky I agree might as well run open. I am not sure how much info is out there for timed setups. All I can say is be a little careful. The lastest software put out by tekin the boosted settings are much more agressive than they were for older software setups you might find out there. I would start by not adding more than about 20-25 timing on boost and then start playing from there. I am not sure on the internal ratio of the D413 so Randy should chime in soon and may be able to help with a good starting gearing.
