Default Orion Program box

I just picked up an Orion program box and don't understand how to connect it with the supplied cables. They don't seem to match the instructions that tell you to connect to the hall sensor port.
These are the cables supplied with my box. Help please.

The motor sensor wire plugs into the black cable(on one end and the ESC on the other) you show which plugs into the box.

The black cable is a USB-to-microUSB, the sensor wire uses a HallSens connector. They don't plug into each other.
The instructions show an adaptor cable that goes from the sensor cable to the ESC. But mine came with the male-to-male ribbon cable shown in the picture.
What am I missing here?

I do not know how to really explain the missing part, but basically you need a sensor wire, then one end of the sensor wire plugs in to the sensor port on the ESC the the other end is plugged in to a special cord (not shown in your picture) then with that plugged then on the other end of that cord you will plug the little plug (not sure what to call it the thing that is at the end of your servos, escs, transponders.) then that will plug into your programmer box. Then turn on your ESC and you should be controlling the power box. Hope this made sense.

The other piece you need comes with the esc, not with the box (not my pic, ignore the fan)

Thank you, I found it. The instructions could have eluded to the fact that the cable came with the ESC.

Cheers

You're not the first person to ask, I'm not sure you can even get that part separate.

Just plug the RX cable of the ESC into the program box. That works too.

I can't get that to work, it just lights the screen up and shows the version of software ?

Also I've found the part number for the cable, it's ORI65151
