Default Telemetry/ROAR Rules

Hi,

Does anyone know how the roar telemetry rules work in practice?

Pay reason for asking is seeing the new telemetry radio from Futaba, and also sanwa has their esc which can be adjusted straight from the transmitter and provides temp data live...where is the line drawn and assuming none of this is allowed during the race what is the rule for how they would "enforce" it?

Eg the sanwa esc just needs it's button held for 4 seconds to disable telemetry, but of course someone could simply do this as they picked the car up at the end?

I know it seems stupid as in reality for 99% it wouldn't matter and we wouldn't cheat, but I wouldn't for example want to turn up at the roar nats and be told my esc and/or transmitter is banned!?

Pretty sure the MT-4s does not include the telemetry sensors like the MT-4 does/did, but the SANWA sensors are a helluvalot less expensive than the Futaba Sensors which are also not included with the 4PLs. SANWA Rx's are a bit more expensive than the Futaba but they are smaller than the giant Futaba Rx's who's downsizing is far, FAR overdue. I've only ever owned Futaba dating back 25+ years because they've always been the best, but I have to vouch for the MT-4 and the new MT-4s.

I have the regular MT-4 and the only issue I had was the screen not being backlit, but I ordered the 9Turbo kit and installed it this weekend and it's now perfect!!!
