Default Official Hacker Electronics Thread

Since there is not yet a Hacker Electronics thread, time to get one started. Hacker is a company manufactured and produced in Germany. With the help of Aero-Model.com we are able to purchase Hacker Electronics in the USA. Hacker started off with plane motors and started getting involved into the 1/8 and 1/10 scene. After many years of trial and error they have a product that is top notch! The Tensoric ESC's and Skalar motors are incredible! Have any questions regarding Hacker Electronics? Post it here!

To download the firmware for the ESC, go to www.aero-model.com then scroll down to downloads. From there proceed to download.

I assume you are talking about these? http://www.amainhobbies.com/index.ph...-Sensor-Cables

If so, you can also buy them from www.aero-model.com

I'm looking into getting one of these but would like to get more information before I try them out...

Question on the Tensoric ESC... This ESC is physically similar to the Orion and the Hobbywing ESCs. There appears to be no major physical differences, is there differences in software?

What are the differences in software or firmware?

Thanks in advance.

Hey guys, I bought a Hacker Tensoric10 3 days ago for my Xray XB4 to replace my Hobbywing V2 which had given up, its hooked up to a LRP X12 6.5, geared 84/20, so im running out of the box software, and ive run this the first time today, batteries fully charged and it slows down to about 30-50% speed after about 30 seconds of running or it will shut off after maybe a minute and i only have sterring, everything still cold batteries barely dropped, anyone else seen this problem or know how i can fix it? i dont have the Prog Box

Tried 2 sets of batteries, different sensor wire.

Supposed to be racing the car in less than 24 hours... Probably taking it into the shop where I got it tomorrow morning to show them what's going on...

well keep in mind, that esc is a hobbywing ESC under the covers. But like the orion it requires a special box. It maybe even use the orion box. Anyway, HW esc's slow down once they hit lvc. So I would definetly try to check the lvc on the esc. Also, if you can try a different motor, do that. You can also disconnect the sensor wire. Since that esc with switch to sensorless, you can rule out sensor board or cable issues.

About to try a different motor, can't be LVC as the batteries are fully charged.
