Default ProTek battery

Just got a ProTek HV 2s 4900 Mah shorty. The label says the voltage is 7.6 as opposed to the standard 7.4 2s. Do I need to set my charger to stop at 7.6 volts to get the most of the battery? Car is b6 on turf. 17.5.

Using an iCharger 306b.

Thanks in advance.

No, charge it like a normal lipo. The rule limit for voltage is still 4.2v/cell even if your pack could be charged higher. The advantage of the 7.6LiHV packs is that they typically have a lower ir even when cutoff at a legal voltage.
1/8 IC Fan likes this.
