Was able to run the motor today and was really pleased. Has a little more top and bottom end than the Viper 1900kv I had been running. You CANNOT beat the motor for the price.

SMC Motors were a contributing factor to my TQ's and wins today in 2wd SCT and ST at the trophy race I attended today. Also qualified 2nd in 2wd buggy and finished 3rd but that wasn't the motors fault, that was all driver.

I got to run my SMC 1900 this past weekend, and very pleased and impressed with the motor. Tons of torque and great on the top end as well. If your looking for a 1900, I would definitely buy this again in a heart beat.

No answer to that. The new SMC motors aren't out yet, and the old ones are discontinued. So for now, the answer is.....42.

what are you guys getting temp wise when the motor feels how you want? i noticed some fade at the end of the main saturday . motor came off at 151. batteries are smc 7200s that are new some im doubting thats the issue. im using hardly anything from them

Had a great weekend last week. Motor performed well. Motor ran very cool. One issue i did encounter was I was being walked down the front straight. I increased my timing on the ESC and got more legs out of the motor but still would like more. I havent maxed out the timing but I am one step below. I was wondering if anyway else experienced this?
(1900kv 4 pole motor with new SMC lipos 50C and 80C)

Have you tried going up a tooth or two on your pinion gear?

Yeah, as long as your temps are ok... gear up.
