Have you opened up the motor? If it’s equally bad in dual mode and sensorless mode, it could be a short in the motor. Let us know if any coils are burnt looking.

So im getting back into electric 1/8. Im finding it hard to source 12awg wire where i am. But can easily source 13awg. Will that be fine to run in 1/8 offroad on the gen2 esc, or will i need to source the 12awg wire? Cheers.

Personally, I would be okay running quality 13 gauge in buggy. Sketchy or cheap 13 gauge might not cut it. 13 gauge of any quality in Truggy would be pushing it in my mind.

While the Rx8 can easily run that motor, I would talk you into the RS Pro BE for a drag racing application. It will also handle the 2.5T motor and it's rated for more amps per phase than the Rx8. |
Hello i am new to the site. I have an RX8 with a 1900kv motor and 16/46 gears. I feel like it is sluggish and nit very fast. I also have a stock slash 4x4 with the brushless motor and it smokes my 1/8 buggy. Just desperate for some help on getting this running the way i think it should. Thanks for any help you can give me.
