I just picked up a Fly Sky iT4 radio package in shiny orange chrome colour from a local seller and included with the radio is a Fly Sky FS-GR3C receiver. I can't seem to get the transmitter to bind with this receiver. I am wondering if perhaps this receiver just isn't compatible with the iT4 transmitter. Can anyone help?

Does anyone know if the it4 work with vrc with no modification?

Is this radio good enough to use for on road racing

I've since had much better luck with my Radiolink RC3S and have been testing that system for a year now without a single problem. It's the same price, offers more features and doesn't have all the faults that come with the GT3C. |
I just ordered this radio. What kind of battery life are you guys getting with the included 800mah lipo?

It's a perfect fit and only $10 http://www.banggood.com/FS-BA1200-Li...r-p-73554.html |
Just got the radio in and used it today and overall not sure how i feel about it.
I'm quite disappointed that steering trim can only be to 30 max in either direction. My hitec servo spline does not allow my servo horn to mount perpendicular and i have to set my trim to max right 30 to get it perpendicular meaning i can not trim right anymore while driving. Additionally, while there's no easy way to verify this, I feel like i'm having issues with the receiver responding. Feels like there's an intermittent problem where the receiver lags/does not respond for 1-2s. Again, very hard to verify so this one is quite frustrating. Anyone else have this problem? |
does your car have a turnbuckle between the servo arm and the steering rack? If so, then I'd recommend adjusting center by using that turnbuckle instead and keep your radio at 0% trim... that way you get full turn in both directions. If you adjust 30% right, then you'll only get 70% left turn radius.

I was trying to get the servo horn perpendicular to the steering linkage/servo so that I don't create any unwanted exponential. Is that a real concern? |

exponential has nothing to do with centering, sorry I can't explain it better for you, I only use EPA as a last resort, best of luck!

If the steering horn is not perpendicular to the steering linkage it does results in unwanted exponential. If it's not perpendicular (90 degrees), for example 30 degrees to the right results in a different amount of link travel than 30 degrees to the left.
Anyway, the intermittent unresponsiveness is something I can not live with and makes me nervous. I decided to return this and get an Airtronics MX-V for $99. |

After you test drive the car, then you can make very small trim adjustments if necessary, but on the board, everything should be zeroed out first. |
I'm thinking of getting this Tx, however there appears to be glitches with some (namely orange color) does this mean the black/silver or green is a safer option? or do they also have the same switch issues?
Thanks! Banggood has the orange Ebay has black/silv and also green as well as orange (orange seems to be the dominant available color when searching this model) |
If you're gonna buy from BangGood... then I'd recommend the RC3S or RC4G instead, far superior radio in every sense for about the same price as the GT3C.
The glitches are hit and miss depending on many different factors, and the common denominator is that FlySky uses Direct Sequencing... if you want to ensure a problem-free setup, then I'd recommend any radio system that uses FHSS. More radios worth considering here: http://www.ultimaterc.com/forums/sho....php?p=2153402 |
I have experienced problem with interference with my 3C but never with my 3B, reading here it seems that its random between radios due to the direct sequence. Can you reprogram the ID so it gets a new sequence that maybe works?
Also before i read this thread i looked at difference in the radios. And i have noticed that the 3C powers the radio module with the battery and not 5V. is this a source for weaker signals? |
