Dead receiver. Can it be fixed
#1
I have a dead Nomadio transceiver. I plug it in and it shows no sign of life. My other Nomadio transceivers work fine in the same car. It was sitting in storage for a few years and now it don't go!
Am I missing something simple?
Is there anyone who fixes this sort of thing, or should I just bin it?
Thanks in advance

You could take the board out of the case and just make sure the solder joints are good, especially the servo ports. Unfortunately, Nomadio is no longer in civilian radio business, so you'd be hard pressed to find a retailer selling any. The 2nd hand market is where you're going to have the best (comparatively speaking) chance.
I wish I still had my React.

Thanks guys. Yes, it is a pity Nomadio is not in hobby RC anymore. I still have two live receivers so I will see how much longer they last. I might as well try resoldering the joints because otherwise it goes in the bin.
