I've run plenty of Tekin speed controls without the switch without issues.

So you just solder the switch wires together and control it by plugging unplugging the battery correct?

I powered it up, and did exactly as you said.
The chimes and LED's did what they were supposed to, but still no throttle.

I actually did have the plug fixed, or at least I thought the guy fixed it right. I was thinking the same thing about the plug still being the problem. I am going to have it redone and see what happens. The wire was in good shape and soldered an crimped back on when it was fixed. Maybe not done exactly correct.
Well, I had the plug redone, had the hobby shop power it up and do the reset and calibration, all LED's were how they are supposed to be, same result, no throttle.
I guess I'll be calling Tekin Monday. 😢

I need some help as I'm running a tekin G2 with 21.5 24k motor on 5300 mah pack! Pulled the trigger after binding the radio and it went into blinking 1,2$ 6,7?

That's wither wrong motor type or low voltage. Double check that you are in brushless mode and that the pack is topped off and the voltage cutoff is set correctly.

Is this on a 2s car? Did you change the motor type?

I haven't touched anything on the esc! It was given to me! It was set-up on 2s 17.5 tc! Would MAH's make a difference ? I'm running 5300 and the car was running on 6000.
Also randy I have been watching your videos on YouTube. Great stuff and keep up the good work.

The mah won't matter. If you're not sure what settings are in it, I'd factory reset the ESC and set it up yourself.

I'm doing the best I can with the videos. Learning as I go. I've got a face for radio

Can I reset this from the esc or do I have to purchase the Hotwire and plug it up! Also you have a pm.

A factory reset can be done by powering up the ESC, holding down both the Mode and Inc buttons at the same time for 4-5 seconds. It will do a light/chime sequence. Once done it's fresh and ready for your settings.

Is there something online that walks you thru the settings on the hotwire. I'm not sure that my settings are saved I did set usb port as a data exchange guess just reassurance I'm doing it right
