So this is not what the RSX will be based on? And I hope there is a pro version. Also love the white case. Goes perfect for my traxxas tcp

This is replacing the RS, there will be a different controller for full mod. I run a 10.5 boosted in my 22 for mod.

will you be able to upload the new software thru the hotwire on to the older RS?

Every time I talk to Tekin at the track they say they're always working on something. 
From what I saw in person you will be able to hook up the hotwire without removing the servo lead from the RX. In the first photo you can see the three pin connector. I think they (Tekin) said something about a better BEC output but I'm not sure on that one, we'll have to wait and see.

and man I hate to remove it from the rx that is the best idea I seen in a long time.
