Do you see any chance of a standard and enforced mAh and & rating method?

I am not sure you will ever see standards on how packs are rated for mah or C rating. It is a marketing thing. And some companies only require the pack to be withing 85-90% of the stated mah. Which means you could be short a few hundred mah. If you really want to compare packs, just get a good IR meter and compare your packs.

not many people do ROAR events, so the vant are fine for club racing or even local events that dont follow roar standards.

I agree. I was only pointing out the original question was geared for a national event and the response was that the ROAR approved list must be wrong which is not the case.

Thanks guys! Too bad that companies are allowed to write any number on the label that the marketing dept comes up with.

Interesting, the 4600 shorty pack in question comes with a roar approved sticker on the sides. At least the one with the dual bullet plugs does.

The vant 6000 is the only battery on the approved list. Now you can see why roar no longer requires the sticker.

I have been using them since mid Oct. with good results. I reccomend them. The numbers seem unrealistic but i figured that going in.

I've been running them for about a year in my 17.5 buggy (4600mAh 90/180c) and they have been great. Recently got 2 more and the year old ones still perform like the new ones. They balance well and there has been no puffing.

I highly recommend them.

good stuff. Looking at the 7600mah ones from promatch as the price looks good for a lipo that is back with a 1 year warranty from what they told me..

anybody here try out the 2s 6500 100c ones yet?

Cain, don't worry

These things go like stink. Great power at a great price. The 7200 & 7600 are great in the SCT410. Enjoy the dual leads :sneaky:

Does anyone here run the quad port one in 4x4 SCT but only use 2 of the ports with a deans plug? If so, how has it been working out for you?

I am assuming it should work as well as say an SMC 4mm plug setup but curious if anyone experienced something else.

VANT 7600mAh packs

It's been rather quiet here lately... Probably a good sign that nobody is having any major issues and everyone is enjoying their packs while racing & bashing... :sneaky:

I just bought a bunch of the 7600mAh stick packs and will wire them in series for E-Buggy... Though I notice these newer packs don't come with quad terminals... I'll also have to say though, with brand new bullet connectors, the fit to the terminals is nice & TIGHT! ;)

Can't wait to test & break them in this weekend...
