Awesome to see you are getting square packs in. I run the 2s 7200 and it's been flawless over last season and still going strong and punchy as ever. The shorty pack I bought for my b5 is great as well!

I like the dual 4mm ports that you use as they provide more options.

I just ordered a Vant 2S 5200mah.

I'm looking forward to racing with it. From all of the feedback, I'm sure I will love it and I will certainly be stocking up on a ton more of them.

I just ordered a Vant 4s 60c 6600mah for my Alza 5b Savvy Flux!

I have been doing research on a new pack for over a month. What gave Vant and Dirt Cheap RC the edge over the rest is the 6 Month Warranty & the Lifetime Replacement Plan.

I look forward to trying out a new brand and hopefully buying some more!

Thanks Jim, beat me to it :-)

The new 7.4V 6000mAh 90C-180C Saddle Packs are in stock! This is an upgrade from the original 5200mah 75C packs which were killers! Though they cost more, we have an introductory price cut, matching the 5200mah price for those interested as well as those who have been waiting for the saddles to arrive back in stock.

They are the same size as the old packs at 68.8 x 46.6 x 24.7 mm each

Photos and detailed specs coming soon.

Let us know how you like them Jim!!

Ran my wheeler last night with the Vant 6000mah saddle pack. It's a rocket with super low resistance. Right on par with packs that cost twice as much.

You will simply need a balancing battery charger, capable of charging a 4S LiPo. I would suggest a charger that provides more than just the standard 50Watts. I would recommend at least 80 Watts.

50Watts / 14.8V = 3.3Amp max charge rate
80Watts / 14.8V = 5.4Amp max charge rate
