Default 17.5 Motor

Whats the best motor you've seen? I'm running a Ballistic in VTA now, just wasn't sure if there was anything better or should I just get a ballistic 17.5 for this RCGT class
Any thoughts would be appreciated,
Donnie

Reedy Sonic is another strong performer along with Thunder Power.

Cheers

With the Ion 4 17.5 they give you a choice of rotor between the 12.3mm broad power band or the 12.5mm High torque . They are great motors and are winning in almost every major race . here another thread for you to read .

Team Epic D3.5: http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...ess-Motor-175T

You can get a number of different rotors for it to get more torque, more RPM, etc. Great motor. I got the torque rotor for mine and it made quite a difference. You can also get them with the torque rotor already in them as the Maxzilla model.

I agree that the D3.5 is thought of as one of the top motors right now, but if you're going with a 3.5 - maybe go with one of the hand tuned and blueprinted versions....
