Think I heard from my LHS that JR is considering a comeback in the high end surface radio market......and they wouldn't be using Spektrum technology this time around (like their flagship air transmitter.)

Hope this is accurate! Maybe I'd consider switching back from Futaba.

Default Range Improvement

I think I found the cure to my issues. I never lost control, but noticed delayed responces now and again. I run savox servos so I installed caps. I thought at first it helped but the other day I was doing some laps in the street and my steering glitched on me. I never noticed my steering with a problem before but on the dirt its hard to tell sometime so maybe it had. The things I noticed before where delayed throttle response, on and off. Dreading buying a new radio, I thought about it. When these glitches would happen, my battery's in my tx would be 5.6 volts or below. I can't remember it glitching with new batteries in tx. I guess I assumed I should be able to run them (battery's) down to 5.0 volts so never gave it a second thought. I'm gonna install a Life pack in my tx. Am hoping it solves my problem and maybe it'll help others too...
