Negative batter port melting?
Both of my lipos have started melting around the negative banana plug port located on the battery (racers edge 2s). This seems to have only happened after witching to deans, but i switched esc at the same time to so im not sure. Other people have said faulty soldering, but as far as i can figure everything from the esc to the battery is solid factory soldering jobs.

Most of the lipos use 4 mm bullets. The leads that come with the batteries have a bird cage style bullet connector. Try changing it to this style http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...t-Connectors-3. They are solid connectors with less resistance when used on high demanding systems.
