Um, it is illegal to ship LiPos via air transportation. Additional shipping methods won't get the battery to you any faster.
Anyway, I received my LiPos in two days from Virginia and I live in SoCal. The box did indicate ground shipment only due to LiPos, so perhaps you will receive yours just as quickly. |

Ah I forgot about the lipo ground rule.
Disregard my previous comment. :D |

No other shipping options is pretty annoying. 5 business days to norcal from va sucks. Pretty sure I've gotten random stuff from china in less than 5 days.
You could of emailed us to require a faster shipping option. 1 or 2 packs of 2S we can ship USPS small flat rate priority. For bigger packs we need to ship UPS ground. If UPS Expedited or Express is required we can offer this if the customer contacts us. We will not break the shipping regulations like the shops in HK do. One day they may get in trouble and we feel breaking the law isn't worth it to make a few bucks. Fines can be up to 50 thousand dollars. |
Yes sorry I completely forgot that things are different when sending lipos. I am new to surface rc and haven't purchased new lipos online in a couple years.
I will miss the weekend but there will be other weekends. :) |
Actually USPS only allows 3 packs to ship in one box. Due to this we only use USPS small flat rate priority. For UPS we use ground and use flat rate shipping to keep things easy. So we start at 11.50 and then increase 0.50 per 2S pack and 1 dollar per 4S pack. We can ship 3 day , 2 day or next day using UPS but we need to do this manually so the customer must email us.
We also have the following info when in the shopping cart. Shipping Info: For one or two 2S packs you have the option to use USPS small flat rate priority shipping or UPS. For 3 packs or more UPS Ground is the only option. For those who require faster shipping please contact us for pricing and options. |
I didn't see that when my two 4s were in the cart though I probably ordered so fast I didn't read much. I wanted to make sure and grab them quickly before they went out of stock again (like now).
No worries. |
Was very impressed with the 2 x 2s 7200's I ran this weekend, one question I have is I got some other packs and not sure how soon I'll use them...if its a coule of months should I save them untouched or cycle them every few weeks in my charger?
|
Still no word on the 6500 3s packs?
|
Just bought 5600 MAH 70C packs last night. Can't wait to try them out on my eco. I have an older SMC 4500 MAH 28C thats still holding strong. Can't beat the price either. I'd rather pay 40 a pack and 6 bucks shipping from an american company. Then spend 33 on a pack and 15 shipping from hobbyking. I think I have found my battery company.

You can leave a pack untouched at storage charge for 2 months but past that it's a good idea to charge and discharge them back to storage charge this will keep them active and should prevent possible issues due to long term storage. |

We use your packs exclusively. Wish the quality of my driving was anywhere near the quality of your packs... I have a storage mode on my charger. (Hitec x4plus?). When storage charging, do i just set it and forget it, or am i looking for a specific level of charge ?? |
Just set to storage charge profile and let the charger do the work. It will terminate charge at storage voltage by itself
|
3.6v to 3.85v per cell is fine for storage.
