If you click on Batteries on our site and look at the sub categories there is one called ROAR approved. All approved models are listed there except for the 6500-70C-4S as due to shipping options we had to keep it only in the 4S category.

In regular 2S packs we have the 6500-70C and 7200-70C packs ROAR legal.

Thanks Danny, was looking in the "inboard" section and forgot to try others!

Ran my 7200's in my Mugen converted short course truck for the first race today. Awesome! Perfect performance and had 20% remaining after the 8 minute main :)

Was going to get a couple of the 4s for bashing with my mbx6t but won't the added weight from having a heavy 6500mah bat kill most of the supposed extra runtime?

(very new to cars sorry if it's a dumb question)

Thanks.

gawith0413 04-28-2013 07:23 PM

Anything on the 3s?

RavensNightFury 04-28-2013 07:39 PM

The 6500 mAHr 4S packs are not really any heavier than 5000s were a year or so ago. The added weight of this pack over a smaller one is much less, as a percentage of total vehicle weight, than the increase in runtime. So no, it won't kill the extra runtime.
