pack is still holding at 1.4/1.5 range for IR. No signs of fade.

Guess everybody missed this.
I am getting right around 4000mah give or take 20-30

Has anyone tried the 4 Cell Shorty battery in their EBuggy? Was curious if it would make a 10 minute main with a 1900 KV motor.

sorry I honestly don't look at the mAh because I never needed to worry about it. I haven't run 4wd buggy in a while.

well, I don't run a 4s shorty in my Caster e-buggy BUT I do run 2 shorties.. I'm running 4600mah and I get over 10 minutes.

I have, no issues at all with a 2050 T8. I've gotten over 14 minutes of run time on one of these packs. These are now what I use in every race. 100 grams lighter is a nice weight savings!

1st weekend with the 4000 100c pack and have to admit it's pretty impressive!
Great punch and solid the entire 6 minute run no sag at all. I need a couple more someday! ;)

Agreed. I can't explain why but it seems that they don't have quite the same punch as full sized packs but I can live with that for the weight savings and the ability to move it forward or back a little to help balance out the weight of the buggy.

I've noticed a bit of a problem with one of my newly acquired saddle batteries. I have used them MAYBE 3 times in my 22 3.0 with Hobbywing 120w 3.1 with Trackstar 7.5 motor. Box stock gearing.
I have always balanced them first before storing them after use. They have not been "stored" with a charge for more than a couple hours. The charger I use is a HiTec X1 MF. I have two of them, so I charge 2 batteries at the same time, which makes my issue even more apparent. I start both batteries at the same exact time and one will finish about 30-45 minutes before the other when balancing from a stored charge. One set will finish in about an hour and the other will be 30-45 minutes after that. The voltage gets a little wacky on the one that takes forever. Once cell will be at 4.16 and the other will be at 4.2 when the input voltage starts ramping down. The input voltage will fluctuate between 0.0 and 0.3 until the cell voltage reaches 4.2ish on each cell. It's not the charger either as I switched them to try and see if that was the issue, it wasn't.

I have even completely cycled the batteries down to 3.3v per cell and then balanced them. Which didn't fix the issue.

When I was running this weekend, I had one pack that lasted me quite a bit longer than the other before LVP started kicking in? or at least that's what I thought. Brought both batteries home and threw them on the charger to balance/store and one battery was all the way down to 3.4 per cell (per settings) and the one that was acting weird was only down to about 3.7v per cell. This was all on the same car/esc/motor with no changes to programing on the ESC.

I went ahead with the balance charge and it still took about 30 minutes longer to charge this battery than the other functioning one. After it did it's thing, I went ahead and put them in balance, put them in my lipo charging box and went to bed around 11ish (I know, horrible practice, but I wasn't about to wait up all night with them to see if they finished).. I woke up this morning @ 6am and this one set was still discharging...

Any ideas? No visible sign of any type of puffing. You can see the case indent when you push down in the center of the case with your finger. No damage to the cases either.

For anybody else waiting on the 100c shorty's to come back in stock, they're on the website now. I just ordered two. I'm excited to try out my first SMC packs. I've always heard nothing but good things about SMC.
