I have a 6500/60 (great battery) and a Novak Edge set to LiPo cutoff. My son ran the xxx sct for a long time and now my charger is saying Low Voltage and wont charge it.
Did my ESC fail to protect my battery?
Is the battery a goner?

The bad part is i wont get to play with them right away haha Gotta head out of town for work then haha So no worries! They should show up with out problems! I just had a go around with the USPS where a delivery driver dropped then kicked my package the other day! The local supervisor was super upset and is making sure nothing like that happens again! Im sure he will to!

Hey Danny after reading this hole thread threw the night and doing plenty of other google searching I just placed a order for some 6500 70C 2s for my savage FLUX HP In hopes I will finally get my 4s back flips! haha My old Gens ace never could get the savage to do a back flip! Anyways planing to be a long time customer! Very impressing how well you help and treat folks on here! Also I do like the fact you sell packs at different ratings such as race/factory and out of spec! The higher IR/not so well matched packs will surly work great in the kids and wifes RCs
EDIT: One more thing! I really like not having to solder on new connectors and you have the rite size direct connect packs!! Please keep the direct connects!! So many company's now seem to have mostly the 4mm bullets to plug into the pack. I hate that! lol plus they don't work so well in the savage like the directs do!

Can you tell me what you mean by direct connect packs ?

I may get shot by the battery guru's here, but this happened to me once. It would not take a charge in lipo mode so I did the following: I charged it in nimh mode for 1-2 minutes at a low amperage... I think I did .5A +/- (I did not leave my battery alone). I then stopped the charge and charged it in lipo mode at normal amperage. Evidently, it gained enough juice so the low voltage setting did not come on. I would strongly recommend that you not run your batteries too low... In fact, you will have more fun in this hobby if you run your car for less time, check your screws as they sometimes back out, and put another battery in. As far as the battery that one just took out... I let them cool before charging again. I am not sure if this is needed, but it can't hurt.

Where the wires come strait out of the pack. No bullet connectors. I really like not having another connections that is not needed PLUS them extra bullet connectors get in the way on the savage
Part of why i found and bought some packs from you was because everywhere els was out of stock on direct connect batteries.

It's also important to not leave the pack connected for long periods of time especially if you hit the LVC. There will be some drain even if the ESC switch is off.

Just checked again and now i get the proper tracking info! I figured it was just the USPS was reusing a old tracking number and that must be it. It shows my packs will be here sat

Yes I agree using adapters with inboard packs is not the way to go but seem that the companies selling cheaper packs just want to stock one model and offer a crappy high resistance adapter. If customers want to got the adapter route with our packs we offer low resistance adapters but it will still add resistance. We also use real Deans and Traxxas connectors which have lower resistance then the cheap knock offs.
