Just have to say I ordered 2 of the 6500 mah 70c batteries and run mod touring car and these batteries are solid! I would gladly purchase more of them in the future and strongly recommend them to fellow racers. Thanks for an awesome product at a great price!

+1 I'm running the 7200 race formula in my tekno best packs I've ever run.

I was considering those...since they'd be in between the two capacities I was looking at. If they're still in stock when I get paid, I'll order them.

Thanks!

Special thanks to Danny & SMC for taking care of a problem I had with a pack. Top notch company, top notch service.

What about the 5600mah race formula?
5670 is the Race Formula 5600.

If your looking for the lowest possible IR than the out of spec 7200 or regular 7200s is the pack with lowest IR then it's the 6570 and the 5670.

That out of spec 7200 is the best deal I've seen in a long time. That would be my go to purchase for a 4x4 SCT without a doubt. Cheap, a couple grams more in weight and 7000 mah. If I needed a new pack, that's where my $ would go or if a friend did, that would be my suggestion.
That's a steel.

But that just gives a time period for crash replacement (2yr.), not any kind of defect or whatever warranty. Would one assume unlimited time? Probably not but I'm curious now that it was brought up.

No issues with my pack after 6mo but curious.

Hey Danny I had discussed with you that I thought I was having issues with my batteries not lasting long and lacking in punch. Well the issue was the esc it wasn't running efficiently I guess I put in a larger esc and problem solved. And just for reference if anyone is trying to run a pro4hd4300kv and mmp in one of the heavier SCT's like the losi or the tekno or caster I would suggest a bigger better esc like the rx8 or hobbywing because your not getting the full potential out of your motor or batteries.

Basically our warranty is that the packs should be free of manufacturing defects. Since we test every pack prior to shipping them they should be in good condition when you get them. That being said there is always the odd thing that can happen to a cell and We will make it right if it's an issue with a cell and we know it's not caused by misuse.

If you use the pack and swell it or crash and damage it you get 30% of the regular price of the pack not the sale price.

Some of our competitors offer no questions asked warranties but that is only possible because they sell at much higher prices. We can't be selling discounted packs and be expected to have no questions asked warranties.

In the end these aggressive warranties and free shipping are all figured into the price. There really is no miracles where a company can offer packs at a low price and do crazy warranties.

Glad to hear you found the issue as I really was wondering what could be the issue as we do test all packs to make sure they are what we expect them to be.

Allot of customers like to blame packs but motors and ESC are also part of the power system. I once had a customer who burnt a ESC and told me it was the batteries fault. He wanted me to replace his ESC and pack. The ESC got so hot it melted the plastic case and melted the solder on the Deans connector and it fell off the pack. That is what I call a major short circuit.

I run the 4600mah shorty now and won the A main tonight, these packs are awesome. My first win came with a 5600mah full pack a few months ago. Definitly my most recommended packs, and I work in a hobby store :P I delivered a few 7200mah packs and SMC has a couple new happy customers.

That's why I didn't want to send them back yet I wanted to be sure that I've tested all possible problems and I found it so thanks for all the help even though your packs weren't the issue I'm very pleased with the great performance of the packs and even more pleased with the amazing support smc offers

That's the way to do it. I have only had one issue with a pack and it was my fault (old loose bullet melted the case) and I discarded it. Doubt I will need to rely on your warranty but good to know
