GTB LVC Question
#1
I have a Novak GTB that came with a truck I recently purchased. He had no knowledge on whether this model had LVC or not. I looked and found some of the late GTB ESCs did in fact have LVC. I have not soldered up any plugs or a motor to it yet, but I would like to know If I could tell if this specific GTB had LVC or not. If there is something on the casing that differentiates it from previous models please let me know.
Thanks

Novak has a list of discontinued ESCs.Go to teamnovak.com and Click "products," and you'll see "discontinued items." you might find it there. The GTB with the black heatsink should have lipo cut-off. i dint think the one with the orange heatsink does. you can always contact novak and trade it in throught their trade in program and put the value toward one of their modern ESCs.

Only way to tell is contact Novak with the serial number. It's on a small white sticker which will be somewhere on the case, if the sticker is gone there may be one on the board inside the case but maybe not. Either way there's no way to tell by looking at them. Only Novak can tell you by looking up the serial number.
IIRC the later "2.4ghz Spektrum Optimized" versions all have LVC. Chrome sticker on the case will say if it's the above version.

Another way to tell is to go through the set up and see if the LVC part works. I forgot which combination of LEDs and flashes show the LVC but it's in the manual. (Downloadable from Novak's site.)
