I know this is a TC forum but anyone know of others running these in mod buggies?
I have read here that there are quite a few things to play with but has anyone got a good OR setup for 2+4WD mod?

And do you still need the USB thingy to upgrade software or can it soon be done with the box?

Hi, just got my VX.

Have a query about turbo delay.

Does the delay start when system tming has reached maximum, or when full throttle is applied?

Also what endbell timing is recommended on Trinity D3.5

I'm going to run 17.5 boosted with 30 timing and 53 turbo - delay @ 0.1

Cheers
Alan

We used them for two years now in offroad with awesome results (vtc now vx) and I can't think of using anything else, so smooth !
One of my mate even won a CML race in front of Tom Yardy.

We are working on a good setup for the v3.0 but on mod (7.5 to 6.5) you can't go wrong with no timing and 32k drive frequency.

Matt Owen just came back to the brand and should have some good setups for us as he did with its VTC setup, basically flat (no timing) then tweak punch and drive frequency to suit.

I run boosted 10.5 2wd a lot and the new 3.0 really push forward with a progressive timing so the whole car is lee edgy yet very powerful.

Just tried the new TX (13.5) and new shorty and nothing short of amazing.
Quite powerful with very good lowend torque.

Just a note. All new Orca's and program cards are now shipping with 3.0 software on them. No need for the USB adapter unless you have an older one with the older software on it. Anyone who has an older unit that wants the software updated can send them in to me and I'll update them for free. Just pay the shipping here and back.

Thanks
