No, it wouldn't be blinky mode if ya did, only thing you can change is the feel of the throttle

yes, if you are an electronics engineer and you know how to hack the program in the ESC. But i suspect you arent an electronics engineer.
Anyway its cheating.

No such thing exist. Either 2.2 or 3.0 software. The program card will tell you what is on it as well.

Although it shows you that you are "adding it" when you run the car there is nothing there and it still blinks. You are mistaken.

No...when its in blinky it doesnt matter what you do with the program card its still in blinky.

The demand has been high for the ORCA stuff since its release. I would just like to apologize for the delay but all products are in route. Hopefully there will be no further delays

Thanks

I was referring to putting it in a different mode. Not blinky.

hi guys

im deciding on whether to get one of these esc's as well as an sp to try but i do know which one as i know the orca is darn fast but the sp is so cheap.....

im only a club racer, but i would like something nice and reliable also
will be running boosted 17.5

have looked at the sp software which seems easy enough to setup
and have also tried a V3 hw

but like i said i have heard good things about the orcas also

so any advice would be much appreciated

I don't have too much personal experience myself with the ORCA stuff as of now but that might be changing soon, but alot of guys around here have them, and I spent some time at the track today with a few of the team guys.

Stuff looks very nice at the track. I got to look at some new motors, batteries, and the esc's. Pretty cool!!

Last week, I ran one of the new, very light 4.5 motors in my Mod TC. Fast

I think if you go that route you'll be happy.

The Orca is very smooth compared to some of the other ECS's. Does not feel like a on/off switch especially in boosted modes or mod. Brakes also stay very consitent from start to finish in the run. The number one thing that Blake and others at our track found running it for the first time was a drop in motor temp any were from 12-14 deg running in blinky mode.

Not only that but the speedo runs cooler itself. Very good, very smooth, very good power.

Got A-main 8th place in our local national series using an ORCA VX V2.2. The speedo performed very well and it kept the motor running cool. FYI, I am using an RX ORCA 6.5 t motor.. It is just too awesome and user-setting friendly.
