Balancer plug conundrum
#1
What it is.
A hobby people 2S lipo with a damaged balancer plug that has been replaced.
What it is doing.
Gives good power and charges to 8.38 volts on an E flite charger. (without the balancer plugged up)
Freaks out my Electrifly balancer which reads one cell at 5.05 volts and nothing else.
Freaks out my turnigy battery meter which reads one cell on 1.11, the second cell at 9.83 and the whole battery at 5.05.
The battery is not puffed, but it might be just a little thicker in the middle than it is on the ends.
I imagine that I have gotten the wires mixed up, since the Hobby People plug had two red wires on the left and one black one on the right and the replacement align plug has two black wires on the left and one red one on the right. I tried to just keep them in the order that they hit the balance plug from before but I must have missed it somehow. Any ideas?

Nevermind. The negative was correct but the other two wires were reversed.
It's now reading 3.93 and 3.94 and the balancer is engaging so I dont have to chuck this battery just yet.
