I purchased a spektrum dx3e and sr300 from a local buyer. I plugged in a servo in the steering port, then powered the receiver with a team orion 1700 nimh 6V into the aux port. For a split second, I can hear the servo move. As soon as power on the the transmitter and turn the wheel, I get no response from the servo. Your help is greatly appreciated. This is actually my first 2.4 setup, so go easy on me. Thanks for looking.

are you planning to run the system off of that battery or will you be powering it with an esc?
