Default KO Propo Electrical Switch 2

Hi Guy’s

Just wondering i have a KO Propo Electrical Switch 2.
What i would like to do is have a Y lead coming from the battery so that i can have a quick place to charge my battery.

Do you know if that is ok to do?
Will it damage the switch at all?
Or is there any way that i can do this?

Thank you for your help in advance.....

The KO electrical switches are nice but their downside is being digital, they constantly drain the battery. Leads to dead receiver packs if you forget to unplug the pack at the end of the day. When I ran nitro, I preferred a normal mechanical switch with a rubber boot.

When running Lipo your Still forced to Unplug at the end of the day regardless. So i see that as being a Super small issue. Ill run a E Switch over a Mechanical switch ANY day of the week.

yes,its not a problem. But until now all my wires was in the box(xray xb9)
i need to take of 2 screws to get to the wires. Was thinking the ko propo switch was the way to go.And if i wil use that switch i need to make a hole or two in the box to connect the switch. But i just leave the connectors on the outside.Easy to connect/disconnect.
Did leave the store with a round of tires and pluggs instead

LiPo batteries, no matter what, are always "running". Even when they're not plugged in to anything. The chemicals inside the battery are extremely volatile. If you happen to leave your LiPo battery plugged into an ESC, Receiver or Switch the battery is still connected to a current creating a continuous circuit. This makes the battery run even while you're not playing with it. Resulting in an Even Faster Self Discharge Rate lipo's Tent to be known For.

Incorrect. A battery (doesn't matter the type) will not be in a closed circuit if the mechanical switch is in the off position. Thus the reason it is "mechanical".

There's no Point in Arguing this, The Facts are out there for ANY one to look up.

Leaving Lipo's Plugged into Anything be it a Starter Box, ESC or Receiver. Its NOT recommended.

No point in arguing but no point in spreading mis-information either. Now I do agree that it is a good recommendation to unplug lipos at the end of the day even if a mechanical switch is part of the circuit. That switch could always accidentally get turned on.

I know this is an older thread, but the question in the first post hasn't been answered. Is there any chance of the switch being damaged running a y adapter from the battery to charge?
