OrangeRx GR300 DSM2 issue

I'm having some problems linking the OrangeRx GR300 DSM2 to my Spektrum DX4Rpro
I have tried several and they wont sync.

Am I missing a step?
I'm trying to link these like a standard Spektrum receiver but no workie!

Some of the generics work, and some don't.
