Nothing fits correctly I'm very disappointed I would like a refund or replacements that work correctly.
Hello,

Just responded to your email with the same answer.

From the pics you emailed us, it appears that you are trying to mount the GRID drop down onto the radio, with the wheel travel plate and trim cover both removed.

The correct order to install the GRID drop down is:
1. Remove both the steering wheel and the wheel travel plate temporarily.
2. Remove the five screws on the trim cover.
3. Attach the rear shell of the GRID drop down to the trim cover with the five screws from step 2.
4. Place the MT4 wheel travel plate back on the radio and Install the GRID upper control lever on top of it. Then use the original steering wheel screw to bolt it on to secure it.
5. Follow the instructions to install the remaining GRID drop down parts.

If you have further questions regarding the installation, let me know.

Regards,
Ron

Just responded to your new email this morning. Can you please post up some clear pics of the one piece trim cover by itself and on the radio. This would be helpful for other members to see.

There are many customers that have our existing drop down on the MT4 with no issues.

If indeed Sanwa did make a recent design change, we will make an updated GRID drop down to work with it.

Thank you

Ron

The output shafts for the steering wheel are no longer 10mm squared they have been reduced to 7mm as well as a one piece trim cover/limiter.Gridrc are making the appropriate changes and I have been told it is being addressed immediately and will be ready within a month..

The current GRID drop down will still be available to support the many MT4 , MTS that have the 10x10mm squared steering shaft.

The revised GRID drop down will contain updated internals to support the newer 7x7mm squared shafts.

Ron

Guess what I just found the adapter limiter from 7mm-10mm that I had put on my M8 that I took off months ago with the original MT4 wheel. as you can see in the pic the after market wheel was designed to operate without the step up adapter I would have never thought to have checked this until you mentioned the after market wheel my sincere apologies. I will admit to my mistakes as I'm getting old.
Sincere apologies,
Shannon Hall
The workmanship and quality is A+ as for mine not so great Lol...

Shannon,

Glad to hear you got the drop down installed.

Happy racing at the PNB and AMS races this year. Feel free to post pics of yourself with the trophies.
Regards,
Ron

PS. In regards to your question about modifying the red steering wheel. Too costly to ship it back and forth. You could try a local machine shop.

Can I get this dropdown in EU? Otherwise I have to pay taxes to. Don't want to spend 100$ on a dropdown

The only place to purchase the drop down is through our webstore. We are based in Canada.

Is there any way to make the steering wheel angled on the MT-4S, in combination with the GRID dropdown unit?

I'm sure we could have designed it with it many years ago if people have asked for it then. But now, it would be a redesign.
