Radio for Dirt Oval Racing
Dirt oval racers out there. What is your recommendation for radios?
I am getting back to racing after a long time. Will be running 13.5. Not concerned with a bunch of bells and whistles. But do want something will provide competitive performance. Do i need 3 channel or 2 channel ok? So what is a good value radio with that in mind?
Thanks
G

Money vs Performance
The Fly Sky GT3B (3 channel) is in the $40 range with $7.50 per extra receiver. The Fly Sky GT2 (2 channel) is in the $20 range if budget is an issue. Check eBay or Hoppypartz http://www.hobbypartz.com/fsgrco.html Airtronics MX Sport is in the $100 range with extra receivers aprox $50. I have owned all three units and I feel the Airtonics will out last the Fly Skies. Course U can buy 2.5 GT3B for one sport. There is some program issue with the exponential function in the GT3B, but it is correctable threw upgrading firmware but adding to the cost. Not a carpet racer but U may not need this function and U can always firmware upgrade Later.
I am sure there is will be more info from others, but these were the units I have had success with.
As to your question about 2 or 3 channel you might need to list a little more info on what U R running, but I suspect 2 channel may well be enough.
